We had our first family camping trip this last weekend and it couldn't have gone better. We were a little worried that Will would have a hard time adjusting to tent life....boy were we wrong. He loved it! Will was able to see some great wildlife, we hiked and also went swimming at a local hot spring! We met some good friends from Denver and Des Moines at a beautiful campground called Avalanche Creek in Colorado. We had a great time while we were there but were excited to get back home to running water and our beds!

You guys look like you had so much fun! I'm glad Will adjusted so well to camping. We need to get together for a play date or something.
I'm so jealous, I've been wanting to go camping but am still nervous about taking Alex. Good to know he'll probably be good to go next summer. Looks like it was a really fun trip!
