Sunday Fundays with Dad!

Its great to know that when I'm working my tail off at work on Sundays, my family is having a great time without me. I was sort of hoping maybe they missed me....just a little.

You know when it's too quiet and you can't hear your children....something is wrong. I found Will in his room with a "surprise" all over his shirt. He was very proud of himself! You can't really tell but the stickers in the middle are about 10 deep!

Family Fun!

Will is crazy about helicopter's, so seeing this one up close and personal was so much fun for him! And he got to drive which was even cooler.
Mike accidentally turned on the "motor" which was really loud and scared Will a bit, hence him ending up on Mike's lap.

H1N1, Croup, RSV...what next?

Hopefully NOTHING! Our family has had all of the above in the last 5 weeks. It started off with the swine flu (or so we think, no one would actually test us), we were all sick for ten days or so, and Will had his first ear infection along with it! We finally all recovered and were well for maybe 3 weeks, then came croup and RSV. Will was running a fever, had a barky cough, sore throat, ear ache and lower tummy pain. After two trips to Kidscare over the weekend and one steroid treatment he was diagnosed with croup. We thought he was doing better on monday and then he woke up tuesday morning with a 102.7 degree fever....again (that made his 5th day with a fever. Mike took both of the boys in to see our pediatrician tuesday and after a chest x-ray Will was diagnosed with RSV, oh ya, AND another ear infection. The poor little guy has had a run of it, this last illness was the sickest I've ever seen him. And now course Mikey has it too! All I want is for my boys to be healthy and happy again. We're just hoping that we're getting all of our illnesses out of the way and that the rest of 2010 will be healthy!

These are the cutest hats! My friend sent them to the boys last week and they have loved them. Will loves playing "hats" now, it his favorite game. Mikey is wearing the reindeer, Will is sporting the robot (his favorite) and the others include a bear, a dinosaur, and a devil. They are all super cute! Thanks Diana!
