Happy Halloween from our little dragon and baby kangaroo!

We had a great Halloween this year. Willie loved trick or treating and was great about saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" to each house. Mikey was a great sport and snoozed in the stroller pretty much the entire time. But by the end of the night we had two really tired boys.
We can't wait till next year when Mikey can run up to the houses with his brother!

First Smiles

I can't believe it but Mikey will be two months old next week! Time flies when you're not sleeping!! We finally moved Mikey into his own room, he's doing pretty well but still wakes up at least 2 to 3 times a night. I don't know if my body is just adjusting to not sleeping or what but I'm feeling pretty well despite not sleeping for more than 2 to 3 hours at a time. I'd love to get him to sleep longer I just can't quite figure out how. Any ideas? Maybe at this stage this is just how it goes. Funny how you forget all of things things after only 2 1/2 years! Will is doing great and loves his little brother so much. He's very helpful and still thinks its hillarious when Mikey poops. Will is also doing really well with his speech therapy. His vocabulary has tripled in the last 2 weeks!!! He's very eager to try to talk and tries to say just about anything. We are so excited, all of this speech therapy is finally paying off...either that or the stubborn little stinker has just decided that he wants to talk. Probably the latter. Either way we are just thrilled!!! I only have 4 more weeks of maternity leave left so I'm loving every minute of my time off. Hopefully I'll be able to get in the garden and get some flowers planted before I return to work. Mikey is smiling all the time now but I've yet to capture a big smile with the camera.
